Spotlight on: Memo Pad
One of the main four applications of the Palm Pilot is the "memo
pad" application. By using the computer application on your PC, you can enter
data into the memo pad and then, when you press the hot-sync button on the Palm Pilot
cradle, the data will be moved to your Palm Pilot. As you can see from this screenshot, I have tracked my time out of office and
time spent after hours should anyone need to know. I also have a glossary of
technical terms that was on our company intranet website.
The other fantastic feature is that the Palm Pilot has a "Find" feature which, much like Yahoo or AltaVista, will search for keywords that you enter like a person's last name or a technical term. The result is a list of places where you will find that keyword on your Palm Pilot:
